The History of the
The 88'Knights are the Class of 1988, Loyola School, Trivandrum. Known for valour, defiance, truth and diversity, the clan spans the length and breadth of the globe, from Australia to the Middle-East and from India to the United States.This page is dedicated to the members of this Brotherhood and their families.
Loyola is a Catholic school where admission is open to all, irrespective of caste and creed. There is an atmosphere of friendship, understanding, care and support that pervades in the school community of parents, pupils and educators. There is no distinction whatever among the school's clientele comprising pupils from all sections of society. Excellence in every aspect of education is aimed at. It is not in competition with others, but with oneself, and in cooperation with others that this excellence is achieved. |

The spirit of St. Ignatius of Loyola
Education of youth is in the very life-blood of the Jesuits - The Society of Jesus. Loyola School was started by the Jesuits of Kerala Province, in 1961. Following the centuries old Jesuit tradition in the field of education, Loyola School aims at the total and integral development of the pupil, in terms of intellectual, emotional, social, cultural, physical, aesthetic, moral, spiritual and religious dimensions of the individual. Such a person is at the service of his fellow-beings, especially of the most deprived and marginalised fellow-beings. |
